How do I go About it?

If you decide to go onto the internet, then all you need do is get in touch with us. If you have any promotional material such as brochures, great. Send them to us and we can use this for information.

We can send you out blank forms that you can fill out with the information you would like to put up on our web page. The key is that you can do as much or as little as you like. We will quite happily fill in the blanks.

Once we have a rough idea of what we want, we will arrange to visit you at your convenience or you can come to us and we will show you a rough draft of your website. We can change the look and feel of things with you until you are happy with the results. If you prefer it, we can put a rough draft of your site on the internet and you can review it that way. Whatever works for you.

Then all that remains is for you to pay the initial costs and we shall set wheels in motion to get you on the internet. Once you agree the design, you can be on the web the same day.

Billing

We require that all the design and setup costs be paid in advance of the web site going live. We also require that the service charge be paid quarterly in advance. Your website may be taken down if your account goes into arrears and you may lose your internet domain name if the account is in arrears at the time re-registration is required.

Domain Registration

We will register an internet domain on your behalf in our name.

If you prefer to deal with the registration yourself, you may do so and register the domain in your own name. We undertake to transfer any domains registered on your behalf into your own name at any time provided your account is not in arrears.

Note that if your account is in arrears at the time of annual domain renewal, continued registration of your domain cannot be guaranteed.

Email Forwarding

All of our packages include one or more email addresses where your customers can contact you. However, not everyone has a need for a computer. For those who would prefer, we can arrange to forward email either by post or by fax. This service attracts a cost per mail received. We would normally advise customers to adopt a weekly schedule for forwarding of emails.  We manually process mail to ensure that unwanted junk mail is not forwarded and costing you money.

The basic rate for faxes is 10c each.

For post it is 15c each but each mailing carries a basic cost of 1 euro irrespective of how many emails are included.

Copyright of your web site domain remains with The Cartrongarrow Web Site Company but we do grant our customers full rights to any design work done on their behalf. We reserve the right to place a discreet link to our own website on any sites designed for our customers.

We reserve the right to impose extra traffic charges if you site is achieving more than a million hits per month. At this level of success, you won't be worried about the extra cost due to the level of business this shall attract.

We reserve the right to take down your site if it is found to be containing offensive material. We take down sites if asked to do so by law enforcement officials. Any service charges paid in advance shall be refunded in such cases. We are a family business and are not interested in this kind of business. There are plenty of other internet service providers that are.
