The Alhambra

The Alhambra in Granada These were taken back in 2004 on a day trip we took to Granada to see the sights. The Alhambra is a Moorish palace and is a spectacular place to visit. These photos were all taken with a dinky little digital camera so the quality may not be the absolute best. This is a truly amazing place to visit - especially after spending time on the Costa Del Sol. It is beautiful drive up into the mountains. We visited in March after a week of torrential rain and the city was fresh after the rain. I have no idea what it is like in the summer when there might be droves of tourists about.

The Ploughing

The Longford Ploughing Championship This was held in March 2006 and was a nice day out. They had it arranged over two or three large fields and you could do a nice walk around the perimeter and get to see everything. The old tractors and horse ploughing held the most interest for me, but they also had more modern equipment and loy digging. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the digging.

Kittens

Kitty and Her Kittens Kits gave birth to four kittens on July 5th. Unfortunately one of them died on the first night as it was a bit of a runt. These are a few photos of kits and her new babies. These aren't exactly pedigree as Kits was putting it out a bit around the neighbourhood.
