The Alhambra in Granada

These were taken back in 2004 on a day trip we took to Granada to see the sights. The Alhambra is a Moorish palace and is a spectacular place to visit. These photos were all taken with a dinky little digital camera so the quality may not be the absolute best.

This is a truly amazing place to visit - especially after spending time on the Costa Del Sol. It is beautiful drive up into the mountains. We visited in March after a week of torrential rain and the city was fresh after the rain. I have no idea what it is like in the summer when there might be droves of tourists about.

Some Plasterwork The decoration on this is supposed to be something to with an Islamic ban on representing living things	Detail in an Arch Again, more highly decorative plasterwork.	A Courtyard This was beautifully peaceful. Very quiet.	An Arcade Something to keep the rain off I suppose
